We love you Steve!
I was in total disbelief when I found out about Steve Irwin's death on Monday. I wouldn't admit to myself that such a thing could happen. I was waiting for the report back saying that his death was a rumor and he was actually okay.
But as more and more news stories came out ...it hit me. The man that risked his everything everyday to show the world what he loves more...was gone.
Crikey Steve, I'll miss you. You brought me countless hours of entertainment and education. You will be remembered and revered as the epitomy of a conservationist and zoologist.
My thoughts are with Terri and the kids as well as all of Australia and the world...we all lost a great human being

Rest in Peace Stevo you will be missed
Its always said that the best go early, and Steve Irwin was just that. Watching Steve on Tv started my love for reptiles, and i believe he has done the same for many others. You left behind a loving family millions of budding reptile enthusiasts, many of which i can only hope will carry on your work concerning the conservation of all wildlife, and promoting that whilst many reptiles are dangerous, they are beautiful animals which require the respect they deserve. Rest in Peace Steve, i hope we do you proud and continue to help animals as you did.
Steve Price(Feeling privelidged to share the same forename as a man so great)
one of the best
going to miss you a whole lot mate,my heart goes with terri, bindi and bob who we all know loved you more than life itself. Thanks for your wonderful education and brilliant showmanship you were truly one of the best and your love for what people would call the worst type of animals filled me with joy.I know you could be a bit daft with it at times but if that helped catch a persons attention and teach them well what did it matter.Hey as you used to say crocs rule,so did you. Cheerio mate.
Good Bye Mate
Steve, you and Terri have always been a big influence on me and my strive to educate people here in WI about mis-understood animals. You placed a big role in my descision to open a rat rescue. Your emails were always aspireing, and helpfull when my water dragons got ill. When no one else could answer my questions you or Terri were right there. I hope Bindi follows in your foot steps, and passes on everything she has learned to young Robert. God Speed my friend, you will never be forgoten, nor will everything you stood for. Good Night Matey
a great loss to the world
All our thoughts are with terri and the children at this sad time.Steve was a wonderful man who will be missed by us all
Good bye
A true scolar, and gent, with some what crazy ideas, and mad sense of humour, whos passion for reptiles, has inspired me, and continues to do so. Rescuing reptiles, is what we do, and everything he has done, has inspired us to do more. With a houseful of reptiles, and our passions run though with every excited breath, with the things he did do.
Thoughts go to his wife Terry and of course the little Stevies running around, and i am sure that everyone will never forget the saying he uses of isnt she a beaut
